Apple Beer Poetry Page 3
Golden effervescence grand
Our solemn
hearts doth cheer
Praises we sing to Lord and King
Who gave us Apple
Beer
Apple Beer is a beacon true
A lighthouse in the storm
That
soothes our souls and binds us up
When fragile hearts are torn
Crack
and dope and heroin
Can sometimes get you high
But Apple Beer's the only
one
That really makes me fly
A name to praise, a name to love
A
name to even fear
A name to express gratitude
His name, Sir Apple
Beer
A single sip of Apple Beer
And worries go away
All problems
cease, all grief will flee
And night will turn to day
Our song will
echo and the hills
Repeat our joyous strain
We give all praise to Apple
Beer
For it is here to reign
A drink to share, a drink to keep
A
drink that's so divine
Only one drink will ever grace
The sacred Apple
Shrine
Oh, Shove a straw into my arm
For it's well worth the
pain
That I might have my Apple Beer
Directly in my veins
Can music
come within a mug?
Can cups contain content?
They can if they hold Apple
Beer
It must be heaven sent
When my back is bent beneath my
woes
The liquid in this cup
This golden, gracious Apple Beer
Doth lift
my spirits up
